The Journey

The journey for me started at a young age - a music fan all my life, enjoying every genre possible. Growing up as a teenager in the 2000s/2010s, the nu-metal and emo scene were my areas of choice, although I did enjoy other stuff as well. I stumbled across the band known as HIM through watching TV shows like Jackass, and movies such as CKY, and I was instantly enamoured with them. They become THE band for me, and continue to be so today. Later years, I started really falling in love with lots of different electronic music, starting with the groundbreaking Aphex Twin, and then moving through to bands such as The Knife and more.

Musical Style

ValøTypeDark is hard to explain... it's EDM, i's chiptune, it's synthwave, it's emo, downtempo, trance and everything in-between. It's an experience, and that's the main thing. VTD started as a remix project before growing into something more, and mainly focus on remixing Pokemon music, Wrestling Theme tunes, covering some of my favourite songs and also creating original pieces.

Current Projects

I currently work on a schedule of releasing a new track every Wednesday on most platforms; always YouTube/Spotify/Apple Music, but also sometimes TikTok and more. All releases are available on the social media platforms as sounds you can use, alongside Snapchat and also Roblox!
